Mining Act Passes Second Reading June 2009

Ontario’s new Mining Act has passed second reading in the Ontario Legislature, and has been referred to the Standing Committee on General Government. The Committee will  hold  hearings over the summer, five in total, four outside of Toronto. The schedule can be obtained from the Standing Committee Clerk. Once the schedule is set, requests to appear before the committee should also be sent to the Standing Committee Clerk:
